Wetland Evaluation and Permitting Services

Most local governments require property owners to minimize construction impact on wetlands. Whether you are a prospective home buyer who wants to know whether you can add a deck or swimming pool before purchasing new property, an older home owner who wishes to sell property quickly, a real estate broker, lawyer, builder, or other representative, determining the type and extent of your wetland early on can help keep your project on-course and on-budget.

Case Study: Connecticut Wetland Restoration

Shown here is a wetland that was completely transformed as a result of our work. At left, notice how invasive species had totally choked the life out of native wetland species and trees. Wetland Resource developed and implemented a plan to rejuvenate this natural space. The results are shown at right: the removal of those invasive species, plus planting of wetland species, restored the beauty and ecologic value of the original space.
